1898年創立のメアリーイマキュレートカレッジは、教育とリベラルアーツを専門とするカトリック系のカレッジ。リムリック大学とは学術提携をしています。学生数は約5,000名と大きくはありませんが、そのうち1割は留学生、またMICの学生やスタッフも積極的に海外へ送り出しており国際色も豊かなカレッジです。
23歳以上の一度社会に出た方や障害のある学生、難民などを積極的に受け入れていることが特徴となっています。
